Mission Eagle's Nest is a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization that works to bring practical assistance, training & humanitarian aid to people of the world that have been stricken with poverty, war, famine and other disasters. Philosophy We believe in partnership, collaboration & friendship with nationals in the developing world to assist them in achieving sustainable development where they are in charge and control of their future. Eagle's Nest works in collaboration with existing organizations to support the achievement of their goals. Eagle's Nest is dedicated to preparing team members to be culturally sensitive and educated about the goals and objectives of the communities we work with, inspiring a sense of global citizenship and well-being. History Eagle's Nest was started by Dayoung & Jeanne Kimn and was registered as a non-profit organization in 2003. Although the history of Eagle's Nest is relatively short it has already had a large impact on areas that have been in need. A warehouse has been set up and containers of vitamins and clothing have been sent to North Korea to help them during their latest famine. Medical supplies and equipment has been sent to different locations. Shipping containers are being converted into emergency hospital operating rooms and dental clinics. So far in 2005, we have sent 3-20 ft containers and 12-40 ft containers of medical supplies and food products worth more than US$22 million and over 500 tons of new clothes to North Korea, Kyrgyzstan and tsunami affected India. Guided by the communities we serve, Eagle's Nest offers the opportunity to work in such areas as: mercy ministry, medical or dental clinics, teaching and micro-economic activities. "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can." John Wesley
